Vicinia Health is a group of independent leader physicians who deliver concierge-level care to their senior patients. They formed as an independent physician association (IPA) in 2019, to better leverage their model as they work with insurance companies, specialists, hospitals and other healthcare providers. This approach puts control for the care of patients back into the hands of their doctors.

This improves outcomes and satisfaction by enabling a physician led, consumer-driven experience of team-based healthcare that offers patients a personal physician advocate to navigate the complex healthcare system and lead a plan for the patient’s long-term health. Unlike traditional concierge, boutique, or direct primary care models, Vicinia Health does not

require patients to pay monthly fees or membership dues for exceptional level of service. Instead, the IPA negotiates with Medicare Advantage health plans to ensure that level of care is appropriately compensated.

This model of care delivers better outcomes for patients. They save money – they live longer – and they are more satisfied than other seniors with the care they receive. This model changes the dynamic of being a primary care physician, or PCP. In truth, Vicinia Health physicians are leader MDs, who are truly engaged with their patients as they lead them on their healthcare journey.
